Who is responsible for my garage light?
The homeowner is responsible for the upkeep of the garage lights. If it is not working it is a good idea to try cleaning the light sensor first. Sensors can be replaced and so can the lights. Please try and match the light with a model that is a the same or something close to the original light. You are responsible for changing the bulb. Long life bulbs are recommended. You can be fined if your garage light is not working. Be sure to keep checking your garage light.

Lately we have had more noise complaints. We lived in shared units so it is important to keep the noise levels at reasonably levels. If you are having a large gathering that will go into the evening it might be wise to inform your closest neighbors. Other noise complaints have been dogs barking and loud cars. Please be considerate of your neighbors. If you are having problems try to talk it out with your neighbor and if that doesn't work you can contact the Village of Gurnee Police Dept. The non emergency number is 847-599-7000.
